Alice N. Snyder

Alice N. Snyder, age 47, of Ridgway died peacefully at her home in Ridgway on August 9, 2016.   Alice was born in Granite City, IL on September 19, 1968 to the late Benjamin & Donna (Hankins) Snyder. 

Alice had worked over the years as a CNA, a Caregiver, and at the local convenience store.  She loved to laugh and had huge personality.  Her loyalty to her friends was one of her best attributes.  Alice really loved her family and friends and was always there for them, but her real love was her son whom she loved so much.  Alice with her quick wit will be missed.

Alice is survived by her son Allan Edwards and his girlfriend, Julianne Bowlby of Ridgway,, a sister, Kimberly Clark, a Aunt, Linda Fromm of Sparta, IL and Amber Dawson of Kevil, KY whom she thought of as a daughter. 

Cremation is being accorded for Alice.  A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway where the family will receive visitors after 1:00 PM.

Rev. Jason Farmer will officiate and her remains will be interred privately.
