Alicia Renee Barton

Alicia Renee Barton, born July 22, 2000, sadly passed away at 26 years old surrounded by loved ones on September 2, 2026. Born to Lisa Ann Barton and Timothy Lee Barton in Evansville, IN, Alicia was known to bring a warmth into any room she was in. She was a social butterfly, known for her big heart, and her ability to make anyone laugh.

After graduating from Gallatin County K-12, Alicia Barton worked as a CNA at Red Banks; she never knew a stranger, being able to connect and show kindness to anyone who met her. Although she never married, she had a profound love for her community, especially her friends and family. Alicia loved to draw and write, singing her heart out any chance she got. Her family remembers her for her beautiful voice, creative spirit, and her strong sense of courage. In her down time, Alicia's fearlessness didn't waver, going rock hunting, four-wheeling, fishing, and going on backroads looking at flowers with her loved ones. 

Alicia is survived by her father, Timothy Lee Barton; her little sister, Felicia Miranda Barton; her older brother, Timmy Barton; two aunts, Denise Chatman and Lisa Velez (Romero); and her cousins, Briana Smith, Douglas Velez, Emilio Velez, Micheal Velez, and Christian Velez. 

Alicia is preceded in death by her stepmother, and mother figure to her for 5 years, Jamie Oldham; her two brothers, Jonathan Wayne Barton and Brent Oldham; and her mother, Lisa Ann Barton. 

A private celebration of Alicia Barton's life will be held by her family at a later date, for family to attend
