Allis Ann Watson

Allis Ann Watson, age 68 of Shawneetown died peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at her home. Allis was born in East St. Louis, IL on August 4, 1946 to the late Carl and Anna (Kukla) Lee. Allis was Catholic by faith. In 1967 she married the love of her life, Tom Watson who survives. She worked for many years at the Ridgway Popcorn Factory and at the Prevention Labs before retiring. Allis loved to plant flowers, work in her yard and enjoy watching her hummingbirds. Allis enjoyed shopping but mostly love to show her love cooking for others. Allis was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by many.

Allis is survived by her husband Tom Watson of Shawneetown, 1 son Tom (Jessi) Watson of Anna, IL, 1 daughter Debby Franco of San Antonio, TX. 2 brothers, Stephen Lee and Cindy Lee and Jerry Lee, 1 sister, Mary & Ivan Menees. Grandchildren Joshua and Aaron Franco. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 granddaughter, Brianna Franco and a sister Rosie Santen.

Visitation for Allis will be on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. Her funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home starting at 7:00 PM with Fr. Steven Beatty officiating.
