Anthony Sauls

Anthony J. Sauls, age 50, longtime Ridgway resident, passed on this life, unexpectedly on Feb. 4, 2022, in Harrisburg Medical Center.  Tony as most knew him was born in Gary, IN to Charles (Mike) & Kathleen (Payton) Sauls.  He is married to Lora (Jackson) Sauls.

Tony was the glue to the family always keeping everyone together and always happy and funny.  He had an unbelievable work ethic from being a Coal Miner, a Farm Hand for many years and most recently starting his own Trucking company which he was so excited to begin.  He was an avid Cardinal baseball fan and Steelers football fan, he loved to play in the snow.   His most important part of life was his family, they were always first.  He would do anything for his kids, making sure they got anything they wanted, he loved watching them in sports and was always the loudest cheerleader in the gym. Tony was a good husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend and will be missed by many in and around Gallatin County.

Tony is survived by his wife, Lora of Ridgway, children, Josh Jackson, Jared (Nicole) Pemberton, Alex Sauls, Alexa Sauls.  His mother Kathy Sauls. A brother Michael Sauls and a sister, Melissa Crissup. His grandchildren, are Jaicee Jackson, Kayson Jackson, and Mason Pemberton.  Tony was preceded in death by his father Mike Sauls, a niece Delaney Mayberry and a grand nephew, Benjamin Sauls.

Visitation for Tony will be on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  His funeral ceremony will be on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at the funeral home starting at 1:00 PM.  Rev. Roger Hobbs will officiate.   Tony will be laid to rest in the Palestine #2 Cemetery near Omaha.
