Bernie Roberts

Bernie Roberts, age 52 of Texas but formerly of Eldorado passed on this life December 30, 2017 in Texas.  Bernie was born in Eldorado on October 19, 1965 to the late Danny Roberts and Wanda (Cox) Roberts who survives.  Bernie married the love of his life Lynn (Crissup) Roberts on July 14, 1989.

He worked for Knight trucking in Texas for many years.  His real love was the outdoors, hunting and fishing.  Bernie and his wife also owned and operated the Diamond L Deer Ranch.  He was a member of the NRA and the Texas Trophy Hunters.  He was a good husband, father, son and brother and will be missed by many.

Bernie is survived by his wife Lynn(Crissup) Roberts of Texas, his daughter Kendreca Roberts and her fiancé, Martin Hernandez of Texas, his mother Wanda Roberts of Eldorado, a brother Chris Roberts and a sister, Bessie Baugher.  Also surving is his mother in law, Tran Crissup of Ridgway, a brother in law, Joe (Teresa) Crissup.  He is preceded in death by his father, father in law, Gary Crissup, and brother in law, Kevin Crissup.

Visitation for Bernie will be Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  His funeral will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the funeral home starting at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Kevin Petty will officiate and burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery near Ridgway.
