Betty L Holbeck

Betty L. Holbeck, age 56 of Enfield, IL died on December 13, 2013 in the Way-Fair Nursing home in Fairfield, IL. Betty was born on August 23, 1957 in Eldorado, IL to Thomas Cox and Phyllis (Downs) Wilhelm. She worked most of her life as a cook in many restaraunts. Her passion was cooking and always would feed anyone that was in need. She was a good daughter, mother, sister and friend and will be missed.

Betty is survived by 2 sons, Gregory Partin of Willisville, IL, and Michael Hobbs of Bethalto, IL. 1 daughter, Mary Ann Holderbold of Valpo, IN, 1 brother, James Wilhelm of Norris City, IL, 2 sisters, Rhonda McKinney of Eldorado, and Vivian Wilson of Portage, In. 9 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and 1 brother, Thomas Cox, 2 sisters, Judy Stiles and Loretta.

Her request was to be cremated and her ashes will be interred with her brother and sister at a later date at the Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven. The service will be private.

Cox & Son Funeral Home in New Haven is entrusted with the arrangements.
