Beulah Stevens

Beulah W. Stevens, age 87 longtime resident of New Haven, IL died April 21, 2009 at 5:42 AM at the Wabash Christian Center in Carmi. Beulah was born on June 21, 1921 in Herald Prairie Twp., IL to the late William and Emma (Willis) Downen. She worked for many years in the School System as Cook. She was a member of New Haven Apostolic Church and was a good Christian woman. She was a good mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed in the New Haven Community.

Beulah is survived by, 4 Sons, Jim (Martha) Stevens of Knoxville, TN, Kenny (JoAnn) Stevens of Mt. Vernon, IN, Rick (Cheryl) Stevens of Hesperia, CA and Danny (Melody) Stevens of Metropolis, IL

3 Daughters, Patsy (Dobie) Browning of New Haven, Margie (Chris) Hale of New Haven and Peggy (Tim) Belford of Harrisburg, Il

Preceded in death by 2 Sons, Carl and Mike along with 4 Brothers, Sam, Woodrow and Bill and Raymond Downen

Visitation for Beulah will be Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in New Haven with the Funeral Service to be on Friday April 24, 2009 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven with Rev. Todd Holtzclaw officiating.
