Carl Sanders

Carl Sanders, age 90 longtime resident of Norris City died Monday, November 21, 2011 in Harrisburg Medical Center. Carl was born on August 5, 1921 in Enfield, IL to the late Eben and Mary (Bryant) Sanders. He married Flora (Bates) Sanders . Carl had worked as General Laborer at Texas Eastern. He love to Raise Chickens and Rabbits. He served his country in the Army. He was a good father, husband, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed.

Carl is survived by his wife, Flora (Bates) Sanders, 3 sons, Lyndon (Donna) Sanders of Norris City, Darrell Sanders of Evansville, IN, Bill (Laura) Sanders of Newburgh, IN. 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 brother Laymond Sanders of Norris City, IL He was preceded in death by 3 Sisters, Lucille Harris, Berniece Baker and Gladys Griffith and 1 one brother, Bobby Lee Sanders.

Graveside services for Carl will be on Wednesday November 23, 2011 at the Union Ridge Cemetery in New Haven with Rev. Justin Griffin officiating. The service will start at 1 PM Those attending should go directly to the cemetery. Cox & Son Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
