Charles Wesley ""Wes"" Porter

Charles Wesley ""Wes"" Porter age 51 of Shawneetown died Friday, May 14, 2010 in Louisville Kentucky after a sudden illness. Wes as most knew him was born in Great Falls, Montana on August 18, 1958 to Charles & Evelyn (Shepard) Porter. He graduated from Ridgway High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. Wes was always a polite a kind person, he was always had a contagious smile for you. He loved music and play pool. He was very well read and was the person you could always ask the question you were stumped on. Wes was a good father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Wes is survived by his Mother - Evelyn Porter of Ridgway, a daughter, Sonya Bonneville Niehaus , 3 sisters, Lynn Boulds of Ridgway, Myra Willis of Ridgway and Kim Tipton of Ridgway. Numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Charles and a brother in law, Jim Boulds.

Services for Wes will be Monday, May 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway with Larry Reynolds will give the eulogy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 12 Noon on Monday. Interment will be in the Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven
