Charles Wayne Sharp

Charles Wayne Sharp, age 53 lifelong resident of Old Shawneetown died suddenly on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Ferrell Hospital, Eldorado, IL. Charles was the oldest son of Robert and Elsie (Belt) Sharp of Old Shawneetown. He had done many things through his short life, from being a fisherman, to mechanic and most recently a truck driver.

He is survived by 2 sons, Charles Robert (Mary) Sharp of Corydon, KY and James Sharp of Shawneetown, his parents, Bob and Elsie Sharp of Old Shawneetown, 1 Brother, Bobby Wayne Sharp of Norris City and 5 Sisters, Laverne, Ruby, Diane, Wanda and Joann. 2 grandchildren, Caylie and Blake.

Per his wishes, he was cremated and the family will have a private service at a later date.

Cox & Son Funeral Home, Shawneetown Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.
