D. A. Richeson

D.A. Richeson, age 77 of Shawneetown passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

Mr. Richeson was born on June 8, 1930 in the Saline Mine Area south of Shawneetown to the late Albert and Mae (Rowland) Richeson. On November 9, 1952 he married the former Barbara Isabelle (Barlow) Richeson who survives.

D.A. retired from the Coal mines and had also operated a service station in Shawneetown for many years. He was a member of the Shawneetown Methodist Church. He served his country in the armed services in the Air Force. D.A. was a good husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by the community.

D.A. is survived by his wife, Isabelle Richeson of Shawneetown, daughter, Martha (David) Cox of Shawneetown, daughter, Margaret Ann (David) Patton of Shawneetown, sister, Margaret Hobbs, of Shawneetown, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Joyce Ann and David Patton, Shawnna (Jason) Bosaw and Bree, Jennifer (Timmy) Allen and Hunter and Jillian, Barbie (Hank) Downen and Kaden. Nephew, Don Richeson, nieces, Karen Stephans, Annette Gulledge, Connie Johnson.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Hogan Cemetery near Shawneetown with Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. Those attending should go directly to the cemetery
