Daniel Randall

Herbert Daniel Randall, age 60, of Eldorado, IL took a country ride home on April 9, 2023 at his home.  Daniel was born on June 26, 1962 to Mary Belle Randall of Ridgway.  On June 6, 1981 he married his always and forever Diane, she survives.

Daniel was 1981 graduate of Ridgway High School, had an Associates in Automotive Technology from SIC, and a Bachelors in Automotive Technology from SIU.  He would always tell everyone he was a Jack of all trades and Master of none.  Although he did get to work his dream job as an automotive teacher for a time at Gallatin County High School. 

Daniel was an amazing Dad, he put a lot of pride in his daughter Savannah (Brad) Owens of Hendersonville, TN. The moon and stars his grandchildren, Aidan (Hope) Clark, Marissa and Nikolas Clark, and Paisley Owens.  His boogety-boo, his great granddaughter, Brookelynee Ailene Clark and great granddaughter on way Evelynne Clark.   Daniel had a large family being the baby of 10, with loads of nieces and nephews and a multitude of cousins, aunts and uncles.  He is also survived by a sister Martha Simpson and preceded by his brothers, James, Jerry, and Laurence Randall.

Services for Daniel will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway at 1:00 PM The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 10:00 am to 1:00 PM.  Daniel will be laid to rest in the Crawford Campground Cemetery near Ridgway.

Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital or to the Campground Cemetery.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
