David Clark

David Clark age 72 of Shawneetown, IL passed away peacefully Saturday, July 08, 2023 in Herrin, IL. He was born on October 03, 1950 in Crittenden County, Kentucky to the late Sherman and Pauline (Conger) Clark.

David was a coal miner for many years. He spent many days behind the wheel of a tractor farming. David had a love for the simple life spending time with his family and friends. Most of all enjoyed his days with his dog Molly. David left a special place in each of our hearts and he will be greatly missed my many.  

David is survived by one son Dion (Rachael) Clark, one daughter Tina Sommer. One grandson Dalton Chumbler, and one great grandchild. Along with brothers, Donnie Clark, and Tony Clark. Two sisters Faye Black and Pam Enoch. He is preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Pauline.

Visitation for David will be Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown, IL  from 11:00 am - 1:00pm
