Debbie ""York"" Deain

Debbie ""York"" Deain, age 57 of Norris City but formerly of New Haven, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at her home in Norris City. She was surrounded by her family after an extended illness. Debbie was born in New Haven on August 16, 1952 to the late Leo and Bernita (McDowell) Hart. She worked most of her life in the general labor field but her passion became helping out at the Ambulance service in Norris City. She was a Protestant by faith, a good mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed.

Debbie is survived by a Daughter Tina Edwards of Norris City, a Son, Bobby (Tonya) York of Hunt City, IL, 3 Brothers, Tom Hart of Thackery, IL, Don McDowell of Mt. Vernon, IL, and Leroy McDowell of New Whiteland, In., 2 Sisters, Mary Ezell of Quincy, IL and Kate Runyon of West Salem, IL. 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren

Visitation and Services for Debbie will be on Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in New Haven. The family will receive friends starting at 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM when the funeral service will begin. Following the service at her request, Debbie will be cremated. Rev. Tara Cisco will officiate.
