Diane Schmit

Diane Schmit, age 62 died peacefully on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN. Diane was born in Chicago, IL on December 5, 1948 to the late Melvin & Adeline (Matykeanes) Schmit. Diane had been a resident at the Warren house in Shawneetown for many years where she was loved for so dearly. Diane loved to go to church, joke around, dance and was so fun-loving. She was known for her love of hamburgers her favorite food.
Graveside services for Diane will be on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown with Rev. Bob Powell officiating. There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM until funeral time at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown.
