]Edna M. Baldwin, age 83, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Edna was born in the Pond Settlement community on March 20, 1927 to the late Henry and Sarah (Murphy) Doerr. In 1947 she married George Baldwin who preceded her in death in 2004. Edna was a member of the Shawneetown First Baptist Church. Edna loved to be with her family and really enjoyed to cook. She was a good wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. ]Edna is survived by, 2 sons - Louie Baldwin of Shawneetown and David Baldwin of Norris City, 2 daughters - Janet Martin of Junction and Pat Baldwin of Mt. Vernon, IN., along with 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 3 Brothers and 2 sisters. ]Visitation for Edna will be Friday, October 8, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. Funeral service for Edna will be on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown with Rev. Jack Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown. ]In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to the VNA Hospice
