Edna Ruth Bean, born on June 21, 1933, in Equality, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home on November 8th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. A cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Edna embraced her role as a homemaker with dedication and love.

Edna was a proud graduate of Harrisburg High School, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with care and commitment to her family. She was known for her warm personality and the joy she found in being a grandmother and great-grandmother, always nurturing and caring for her loved ones.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Bonnie) Bean and Keith (Tena) Bean, both of Eldorado. Edna also leaves behind her daughter, Kathy (Joel) Stanley, as well as her grandchildren:  Chris (Amy) Bean, Joshua Bean, Shawn (JaCee) Bean, Brandi (John) Gunning, Stacy (Anthony) Olvera, Adam (Ashton) Stanley, Annika Hopkins, John Lane, and Jessica (Joseph) Oldham. In addition to her grandchildren, Edna enjoyed the company of her 14 great-grandchildren, and one Great Grandchild on the way. Each of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Lucan and Cuba (Raymer) Sinabaugh, and the love of her life and husband Loren Bean, her beloved daughter, Deborah Lynn Lane, and several siblings, including her brothers Burtis Sinabaugh, Bernard Sinabaugh, and Earl Sinabaugh, and her sisters Edith Patton and Ethel Sweat. She also mourned the loss of Austyn Hopkins, who was dear to her. With numerous Nephews and Nieces. 

A graveside service to honor Edna's life will be held on November 16, 2024, at Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado, beginning at 1:00 PM. As family and friends gather to celebrate her legacy, Edna Ruth Bean will be remembered for her unwavering love, dedication, and the cherished memories she created with those she held dear.
