Elizabeth Ann Chapman

Elizabeth Ann Chapman, age 64 of Shawneetown died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Ann was born in Cave In Rock, IL on Feb. 9, 1948 to the late Henry and Anesley (Davis) Kaegi. She was a homemaker. She loved baseball especially the Cardinals and Braves and loved to travel. She was a good mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed.

She is survived by a son, Pat (Angela) Chapman of Lafayette, In and 3 daughters, Norma Chapman of Wasson, IL, Melissa (Dale) Wenzel of Equality, IL and Kim (Lee) Barnes of Shawneetown. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Kennethy Kaegi and Bill Kaegi, a A½ brother George Calhoun. 3 Sisters, Mary Capeheart, Lily Endicott and A½ sister Twilla Haney. 15 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a A½ brother Jackie Mathis

Visitation for Ann will be on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The funeral for Ann will be on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Lyndal Sork officiating. Interment will follow in the Hogan Cemetery in Shawneetown.

In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to the American Cancer fund.
