Francee Pruett

Francee Pruett longtime Ridgway resident departed this earth on March 14, 2016 at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. Francee was born October 19, 1947 to her father the late Tyler Gauen, her mother the late, Frankie (Bahl) Gauen . Francee was the beloved mother of 3 children, Chris Pruett of Phoenix, Arizona, Holly Pruett of New Orleans, Louisiana and Lauren Pruett of Phoenix, Arizona.

She is also survived by her brother John Gauen and partner Cheryl Ihry of Phoenix, Arizona, her nephews, Tim (Patty) Gauen of Western Springs, Illinois and Tom (Marcella) Gauen of Naperville, Illinois along with great nieces, Meghan and Kelsey Gauen and great nephews, Jack, Mitch and Ben Gauen. Francee is also survived cousins Mary Ann Patton and family of Shawneetown, Steve Galt and family of Shawneetown and Beth Goines and family of Shawneetown. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brother Woody Gauen.

She is also survived by her faithful companion Bruiser and 2 granddogs, Sassy and Honey Badger.

Francee was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Ridgway, Illinois, graduated high school from the Academy of Sacred Heart in St. Charles, Missouri, and received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Southern Indiana University. Her quick wit and contagious laugh will be remembered by many.

A memorial celebration of her life will be held at the Ridgway American Legion on Saturday, March 19th at

5 pm. Francee's family welcomes all her friends and family to attend and remember her life.
