Francis Mitsdarffer

Francis J. Mitsdarffer, 91, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in Ilvesheim, Germany. He Was born in Ridgway, IL on October 10, 1917 to William and Ida Neumann Mitsdarffer. He attended Harrisburg High School. Francis was a retired career US Army Veteran of WWII. He was stationed in Germany for many years where service and burial will be held.

Francis was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, William, Paul, Louis, Carl and sisters Bonita and Marie. Surviving are nieces, Ida Nell Wargel, Mary Lee Saunders, Eva Allen and Paula Snoddy, along with longtime companion Elizabeth Stock of Ilvesheim, Germany.
