Geneva Keane

Geneva Keane, age 94, longtime resident of Ridgway, died Monday, December 28, 2009 in the Ridgway Manor Nursing Home. Geneva was born in Gallatin County on February 3, 1915 to the late Roy & Rosa (Cox) McGrew. She was a homemaker. Geneva was married on October 15, 1938 to John Keane who preceded her in death in 1986. She attended and was a active member of the Ridgway Church of God. In her younger years she was the Church Treasurer. She was a good wife, sister, aunt and friend. She will always be remembered by her caring and compassion of everyone she knew she was a joy to be around. She loved the Lord and always put the Lord first and foremost in her daily life..

She is survived by several Great Nieces, and 1 Great Nephew.


She was preceded in death by, her parents, husband, 3 Brothers, Leroy, Cecil and Lewis McGrew, 2 Sisters, Mary Boulds and Regina Frailey.

Services for Geneva will be Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway where a visitation will begin at 11:00 AM . Rev. Lyndal Sork will officiate and interment will be in Jackson Cemetery.
