Glendel Yarber, Jr

Glendel R. Yarber Jr., age 32, of Metropolis, IL, passed on this life, April 1, 2023, in Paducah, Ky after lifelong health battle.  Glendel was born on September 3, 1990, in Carbondale, IL to Glendel Yarber Sr and Patricia (Latham) .Glendel lived in Harrisburg and Eldordo most of his life.

Glendel had fought his sickness most of his life, but it would keep him down of doing the things he loved most, fighting Fires.  He had been a volunteer fire fighter at many departments over the years, some being Carbondale Twp, Golconda and Dongola. He was also a true outdoors person, he loved to Hunt, fish and had uncanny ability to handle snakes.  He was always a jokster and family made comment about the day of death being on April fool's day.  Glendel could always light up a room and make people smile. He loved all of his family with his whole heart, his mother, sisters, and cousins so much.  Even though he spent a short time here he left a huge impact and will be missed.
