Hazel R. Zirkelbach

Hazel R. Zirkelbach, age 67 longtime resident of Old Shawneetown died suddenly on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, IN. Hazel was born in Eldorado on October 14, 1945 to the late Harry Fred Clayton and Elizabeth (Dodge). Hazel married Paul Zirkelbach on Dec. 22, 1984. She love to go to Wal-Mart and shop and visit but mostly loved her grandchildren.

Hazel is survived by her husband Paul Zirkelbach of Old Shawneetown, daughters, Melissa (Jim) Charleton of Shawneetown, Angie Back of Shawneetown, Melinda Lewis of Illinois and Valerie Pyle of Lindenhurst, IL, 2 step daughters, Paula Wagoner of Danville, IL and Pauline Engels of Eldorado, Il. 23 grandchildren , especially, Ashton, Michael, William and Anthony Charleton, Jami Malone, Hannah Back and Hayden Back and 9 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Nicki Holbrook and a set of infant twins.

Visitation for Hazel will be on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown, her funeral will be on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Rushing officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Ridgway.
