Imogene Edmonds

Imogene Edmonds, age 83, longtime resident of Shawneetown died Monday, May 17, 2010 in the Fountainview Nursing Home. Imogene was born on July 14, 1926 to the late Everett & Sudie (Brock) Dozier in Grays, Kentucky. She was married to Louie Edmonds who preceded her in death in 1975. Imogene worked for many years at The Fox Bar and Grill in Shawneetown. She loved to garden and was always happy when talking with her family and friends. She was a good mother, wife, grandmother and sister and will be missed.

Imogene is survived by 2 sons, Louie Edmonds of Galatia, IL, Kenneth (companion Nena Fox) of Clinton Twp, MI, A½ daughter, Anna Nicikowski of Detroit, MI. 3 Brothers, Benny (Joyce) Dozier of Shawneetown, Jim (Herda) Dozier of Ratcliff, KY, and Pat Dozier of Florida. 4 Sisters, Phyllis Robbins of Shawneetown, Margie (Tom) Findley of Covington, Ky, Sharon Robbins of Toledo, IL, and Bobbi (Charlie) Moore of Shawneetown. 2 grandchldren and 3 Great Grandchildren. She was also preceded by a brother Bill Dozier.

Visitation for Imogene will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. Graveside services will be precede burial on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery near Equality.
