Iva Wolf

Iva Charlene Wolf, age 74 of Southwest Indiana but longtime Shawneetown resident passed on this life, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in the Select Hospital, Evansville, IN

Charlene as most knew her was born on May 17, 1947, in Indianapolis, IN, to the late Wendell and Elizabeth (King) Hite.  On January 10, 1966, she married the love of her life, James “Speck” Wolf who preceded her in death.

Charlene loved to garden but mostly be with her family.  She had a kind and gentle heart and always had a good word for you.  She loved her husband and family more than anything and will be missed by so many.

Charlene is survived by a brother Wendell Hite and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Charlene will be Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown.  A graveside service will immediately follow at the Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
