James Derrick Long

James Derrick Long of Shawneetown, IL passed away November 16, 2023. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, hunting, fishing, and camping.

James is survived by his wife, Amy Long; mother, Harriet Collins; three sons, Shane Long, Joseph Long, Nickolas Long; two daughters, Sierra Adcock, Hannah Hill; three grandchildren, Paisley Long, Alex Hill, Olivia Hill; one grandchild on the way; siblings Lance McCormick, Sarah(Matthew) Owens, Robert Long, Justin Long, Jessica Reed, Elizabeth Reed; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Collins.

Graveside service will be 11:00 am on November 24, 2023, at Westwood Cemetery.
