James E. McGhee

James E. ""Jim"" McGhee, age 55 of Shawneetown died on Monday, January 14, 2013 in the Harrisburg Medical Center. Jim as most knew him was born on March 12, 1957 to Edgar ""Doc"" and Virgnia (Jefferies) McGhee. He was married to the former Mary (Benn) McGhee on July 30, 1974, she preceded him in death in 2006.

Jim was Truck driver most of his life before his sickness. He loved to hunt and fish but mostly loved to be around his grandchildren.

Jim is survived by 1 son, J.R. McGhee of Shawneetown, 2 daughters, Mary King of Shawneetown and Dianna McGhee of Shawneetown. His father and mother in law, Edgar and Catherine McGhee, 3 sisters, Joanne McGhee of Shawneetown, Janet Johnson of Eldorado and Julie Booth of Mineral Mounds, Texas. 11 grandchildren and preceded by 1 daughter and 1 grandchild.

Visitation for Jim will be on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown after 11:00AM. His funeral will follow starting at 1:00 PM with Rev. Randy Vaughn officiating and interment will follow in the Westwood cemetery in Shawneetown.
