Jamie R. Gothard

On August 5, 2024, the world lost a shining light with the passing of Jamie R. Gothard at the young age of 15 at her home. Jamie, whose infectious personality was described as happy and joyful, was born on June 10, 2009, bringing immense joy and love into the lives of those around her.

Jamie's life will be celebrated and remembered during visitation services to be held on August 17, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Ridgway located at 428 E. South Street, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory.

In her short but meaningful life, Jamie found great pleasure in simple yet fulfilling activities. Cooking, bird watching, and mushroom hunting were not just hobbies for Jamie, they were a way for her to connect with the world around her and find beauty in the little things.

Jamie is survived by her loving parents, Randy Gothard and Erin Gothard, her sisters Kendra Blankenship and Haylea Tron, and her grandparents Pat Conner and Bill Gothard. In the hearts of her family, Jamie's spirit will forever live on, carrying the love and warmth she brought into their lives.

In the arms of the angels, Jamie is welcomed by her departed loved ones, including Wanda Goad and Bill Goad, who have gone before her. Their reunion in the realm beyond is a testament to the unbreakable bonds of family that transcend life and death.

Though Jamie's time on earth was brief, the impact she made through her radiant smile and kind heart will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
