Janet F. Angelly, age 64 of Harrisburg but formerly of Shawneetown died peacefully surrounded by her family in Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. Janet was born in Old Shawneetown on April 18, 1949 to the late Jack and Opal (Hise) Warden. On March 13, 1965 she married Floyd Angelly. She was a homemaker and loved to take care of be around her family especially her grandchildren. She loved to play Bingo and never met a stranger. Janet had a contagious smile and always wanted to talk with you when she saw you. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed.

Janet is survived by her husband Floyd Angelly of Harrisburg, 2 daughters, Tammy Pindell of Harrisburg, and Sandy Angelly of Raleigh, NC. 2 Sons, Michael Hershey of Cave In Rock, IL and Jason Hershey of Boston, MA. 3 sisters, Kay Rehbein of Junction, IL, Sue Darnell of Sturgis, KY, and Barbara Byrd of Fayetteville, NC. 1 brother, Jackie Warden of Shawneetown, IL. 8 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Billy Jack Angelly, and a brother Donald Warden.

Visitation for Janet will be on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. Her funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home starting at 1:00 PM. Rev. Jack Hall will officiate and interment will follow in the Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the St. Judes Children Hospital, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
