Jerry Kessel

Jerry A. Kessel, age 75, a resident of the Gallatin Manor Nursing Center in Ridgway passed on this life on February 4, 2018 after an extended illness.  Jerry came to Ridgway from Anna, IL after spending over 18 years in the Spanish Oaks  Center and 2 years in Integrity Health Nursing Center.

Jerry loved people and being around the ones that cared for him.  He was quite a prankster who loved to play tricks on you and then watch. He had real sweet tooth especially enjoying chocolate.  He loved to play Bingo and go to church.  Some of his happiest times were the holidays, one Halloween he dressed up as a Baked Potato

Even though he had no family left, he was blessed with his family of Spanish Oaks and the other Nursing centers he had been in.  He will be remembered for a beautiful soul.  Special thanks to Spanish Oaks and Gallatin Manor for being so good to him.

Jerry will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Ridgway
