Julia Agnes Wargel, age 71, lifelong Ridgway resident passed on this life peacefully, November 5, 2019 in the Deaconess Gateway, Newburgh, IN.
Julia was born in Eldorado on February 26, 1948 to the late John S. and Marjorie (McCormick) Fals. Julia was a faithful member of the St. Kateri Catholic Church in Ridgway where she was also a member of the Church Altar Society. She ran a Child Care from her home in Ridgway for over 40 years, taking care of numerous children over the years. She was an avid New York Yankee fan, loved being with her family, and reading. Her real love was her kids and grandkids. Julia had a kind and loving soul and will be missed by many.
Julia is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Steve) Ramsey and Kristi Hollingsworth. Her loving grandchildren, Jack Ramsey, Ty and Emily Hollingsworth. A brother, Bill & Connie Fals, a sister in law, Rita Fals, many nieces and nephews Julia was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Gary Fals, and an infant brother Robert
Visitation for Julia will be Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service beginning at 4:00 PM. Her Christian funeral mass will be on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the St. Kateri Catholic Church in Ridgway at 10:00 AM with Fr. Steven Beatty celebrating mass. She will be laid to rest at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Ridgway.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or the St. Kateri Church Building Fund, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. You may also obtain memorials or send notes of comfort to the family at www.coxandson.com
