Katie Cox

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Katie Cox, born on September 12, 1993, who departed this life on May 9, 2025. Katie's vibrant spirit and love for the outdoors brought joy not only to her life but also to the lives of those she touched.

Katie was a cherished sister, and beloved daughter. She leaves behind her father, Roger Cox, and her step-mother, Amy Cox. As a mother, she was adored by her daughter Zealyn Fowler. In addition, Katie is survived by her brother, James Cox, and sister-in-law, Amanda Cox, as well as her sister, Lindsey Young. She will be fondly remembered by her aunt Charlette Cox and uncle Larry Pettijohn.

Katie lived her life with a passion for adventure. She loved spending time outdoors-whether it was riding four-wheelers, kayaking on serene waters, or fishing with family and friends. Her laughter and zest for life were infectious, making every outing a cherished memory.

A celebration of Katie's life will take place at a later date.
