Kenneth Hannah

Kenneth H. “Herb” Hannah, age 71, of Royalton, IL  passed away on August 24, 2018.  Herb was born in Royalton on September 11, 1946 to the late Karol and Irene (Johnson) Hannah. On December 5, 1964 he married the love of his life, Sharon Kay (Crocks) Hannah.  Herb and Kay raised their family and were lifetime residents of Royalton.

Herb retired from Consolidated Coal Company after 36+ years of employment. Herb enjoyed horses, camping, farming, 4 wheelers and Mama Kay’s sweet tea. He was a good husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was loved by many and will be missed.

Herb is survived by his loving wife Kay; 2 sons, Kenneth Herbert “Herbie” (Amy) Hannah, Jr. of St. Louis, MO and Rodney (Michelle) Hannah of Surprise, AZ; 6 grandchildren, Morgan, Lexi, Olivia, Austin and Brendan Hannah of St. Louis, MO and Brady Hannah of Surprise, AZ; siblings Nancy (George) Cox, Jim (Phyllis) Hannah, Gretchen (Bill) Dodd, Earl (Kathy) Hannah, Andy (Lynda) Hannah; sister and brother in laws Sue Hannah, Judy and Bill Berry, Debbie and Frank Crocks; his mother in law Dollie McCue; his best friend, his dog Buddy; and many nieces, nephews and friends.  He is preceded in death by sister and brother in law Sue (Nelson) Sandefur and a brother, Carl Hannah.
