Kent B. Straub

Kent B. Straub age 65 of Shawneetown died Sunday, April 4, 2010 in the Harrisburg Medical Center. Kent was born on September 7, 1944 in Chicago. He was married to the former Carol (Nieubuurt) who survives. Kent had worked at the Job Corps for many years and recently was working as a guard at the coal mines. He loved to camp and fish but mostly loved to be with his family and friends.
Kent is survived by his wife Carol of Shawneetown, 2 sons, 1 Daughter, 1 Brother, Robert Straub, 1 Step Son and 1 Step Daughter. 2 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Per Kent's wishes, his body will be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown is entrusted with the arrangements.
