Laurence E. Randall

Laurence E. Randall, age 60, of Old Shawneetown, IL passed on this life, April 5, 2017 in the Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, IN.  Laurence was born in Missouri on April 15, 1956.  When he was a small child his family moved to Ridgway where he attended and graduated from Ridgway High School.  On March 28, 1977 he married Betty (Haas) who survives.  Laurence had worked at Old Shawneetown, taking care of the Water and Street Dept for many years and was the glue that held the community government together.  He was known for his uncanny ability to fix almost anything.  His quick wit, work ethic, will be so missed by the community.  Laurence was a good father, husband, and a special grandpa whom loved his grandkids so much.  Laurence had a wonderful heart and soul and will be missed.

Sister           Martha Simpson of Carterville, Il

Brother        Daniel & Diane Randall of Eldorado, IL

11 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren

Visitation     Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway
                   from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Funeral        Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the funeral home starting at 11:00 AM

Burial           Campground Cemetery, Ridgway
