Lonnie W Slaton

Lonnie W. Slaton, age 48 of Shawneetown died Saturday, November 14, 2009 at his residence.

Lonnie was born on February 15, 1961 in Shawneetown, IL, to the late Elmer Slaton and Cora Lee (Gordon). He was a protestant by faith and had worked on various farms thoughout the years as a farm hand. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Lonnie is survived by his wife - Zsa Zsa Murrell Slaton of Shawneetown, a son - Brandon Brinkley of Mt. Vernon, IL, a sister - Linda Back of Shawnetown, 2 brothers - Jerry (Fran) Slaton of Morganfield, Ky, and Donald (Alonya) Slaton of Shawneetown. 1 Grandchild. He was also preceded by 2 Brothers - Larry and Leroy Slaton.

Lonnie's wishes was to be cremated and a service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. His services are entrusted to the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown.
