Margaret Reber

Margaret Reber, age 89, of New Haven, IL passed on this life peacefully on December 23, 2022 in the Wabash Christian Village Nursing Center in Carmi, IL.  Margaret was born in White County, IL on December 9, 1933 to the late Howard and Helen (Richardson) Wilson.  She was married in 1950 to the late Clyde “Red Mundy who preceded her in 2000.  She then married Joe Reber who also preceded her in 2016.

Margaret was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church in New Haven.  She loved country music shows and travel.   She will be remembered around New Haven for her candy making.  Margaret was a kind and gently person who always had a smile and good word for you. 

She is survived by a brother, Wayne (Faye) Wilson of New Haven, nieces and nephews.  Margaret is also preceded by her brother and sister in law, Lowell and Louise Wilson.

Services for Margaret are tentatively scheduled for Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in New Haven. The funeral will start at 1:00 PM and the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until funeral time.  Margaret will then be laid to rest in Asbury Cemetery South of New Haven.
