Patricia K. Batteese

Patricia K. Batteese, age 74 of Old Shawneetown, IL died peacefully at her home Saturday, November 17, 2012 surrounded by her family. She had fought a valiant battle with cancer. Patricia was born in Detroit, MI on December 16, 1937 to the late Clarence and Hazel (Fournier) Cotter. She was married to Bobby Batteese and he preceded her in death earlier this year. She was a homemaker. Patricia loved her family and really enjoyed being around her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by 2 sons, David Batteese of Old Shawneetown, and Adam (Tonya) Batteese of Fenton, MI, 1 brother, Bill Howe of Michigan, and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Per her request cremation will be accorded and her ashes will be interred privately at a later date.
