Patricia Ann Brazier, age 73 of Shawneetown, IL passed on this life, December 7, 2022 in the Eldorado Nursing and Rehab. Ann as most knew her was born in Nebo, Ky on October 12, 1949 to the late James Martin and Ruby (Bryan) Pritchard. On March 16, 1968 she married Phillip Brazier who survives.
Ann worked for many years as a Teller at the bank in Shawneetown, she had worked at the Golden Circle and as caregiver. She loved to sew and garden. Ann will be remembered as having a kind soul and heart, she would help anyone in need. She was a member of the Junction General Baptist Church. Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by many.
Ann is survived by her husband, Phillip Brazier of Shawneetown, 3 daughters, Mindy Brazier Robbins (Jim Rigsby), Carla (Chad) Murphy, Debbie (Shannon) Booles. Grandchildren, Lindsey (Matt) Marvin, Madison Reed, Will Howard, Luke Robbins, Claire Booles and Carmen Bradley. 1 great grandchild, Lincoln Reed. She is also survived by sisters, Mona (Eddie) Moore, Wanda (Larry) Rexing, Mertie (Kirk) Phillips, Marilyn (John) Hopson, Lillian Lewis, and Brenda (Neil) Roberts, 1 brother, Raymond Martin. Ann was preceded in death by a brother, Jim “Shorty” Martin and her adoptive parents, Raymond and Lillian Crosley.
Visitation for Ann will be Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Her funeral service will be on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the funeral home starting at 1:00 PM with Rev. Scott Luckett officiating. Her burial will follow in Reid Cemetery in the Saline Mine area near Shawneetown.
Memorial contributions in her memory can be made in memory to the Gallatin County FFA Alumni, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
