Patti Walker

The Angels came for Patti Jean Drone Walker, 69, of Hendersonville, TN, on Oct 09, 2023. Patti was born on Oct 17, 1953, to Willam Amos & Virginia Lee (Adams) Drone in Ridgway, IL. Patti married her high school sweetheart Keith Walker of Cave-in-Rock, IL. on June 2, 1972. They moved to Hendersonville, TN in 1985 where she worked as a church secretary for 26 years. For the past 12 years Patti and Keith have also had a home in Ridgway to be closer to her mother and family. Patti and Keith enjoyed traveling throughout the country and they both had a great passion for lighthouses “visiting every lighthouse on the east and west coast of the United States, parts of Canada and most of the Great Lakes”. They also visited every National Park in the lower 48 states. Patti had a passion for scrapbooking and had completed over 32, 100+ page scrapbooks of their journeys. Patti was preceded in death by her father William Drone, sister Pamela Collins, niece Shauna Chambers and nephew Craig Drone. She is survived by Keith “her loving husband of 51 years”, mother Virginia Drone, brother Scott and Brenda Drone, nephew Jim and Chris Cinkovich, grandnieces Ashley and Morgan Cinkovich, Genia and Jaden Drone, Hunter Chambers, grandnephew Bret Bullington, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Carolyn and Bob Henderson, nephew Kevin and Kari Henderson, grandnephews Drew and Bryant Henderson and an extended family that she loved dearly. Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday October 12 th at Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway, IL. Private family burial to follow.
