Pauline McGuire, age 98 of Ridgway, died peacefully at her home, Friday, December 04, 2009. Pauline was born June 25, 1911 in Ridgway to the late Fred L. & Katie (Kohl) Drone. On September 15, 1931 she married John C. McGuire who preceded her in death in 1975. Pauline was always very active in her community as she was a Charter Member of the Gallatin County Home Extension, Historical Society, Altar Society and Daughters of Isabella. She was a very devoted Catholic by faith, who showed us each and everyday what real faith is. She was a member of the St. Patricks Church in Ponds Settlement most of her life before moving to town where she became a member of the St. Joseph Parish in Ridgway. Pauline was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend. She always had a kind word and smile for everyone. She was a pillar of Gallatin County Catholic Churchs and will be greatly missed.

Pauline is survived by; 3 Sons - Robert (Judy) McGuire of Ridgway, Charles (Linda) McGuire of Ridgway, and Fred (Peg) McGuire of South Carolina. 1 Daughter - Carol Ann Lawler of Fairfield, IL. 1 Brother - Cletus ""Spud"" Drone of St. James, Mo and 2 Sisters - Roberta Naas of Ridgway, IL and Viola Roe of Evansville, IN. 9 Grandchildren - Mike (Tracy) McGuire, Steve (Kendra) McGuire, Kevin (Stacia) McGuire, Tim (Lisa) McGuire, Mark (Lori) McGuire, Debbie (David) Denton, Terry (Pam) Lawler, Donna Lawler and Amy (Tony) Troiano. 17 Great grandchildren - Marissa, Thomas, Heather, Zachary, Kaylee, Jonathon and Wesley McGuire, Kasey, Ryan, Matthew, Benjamin, and Kaitlyn McGuire, Ryan and Victoria Denton and Amy Lawler, Michael and Scott Troiano, and 1 great great grandchild, Hadley Denton.

Pauline was preceded by, her parents, husband, 1 daughter - Sister Kathleen McGuire, 2 Brothers, Fr. Ray Drone, and Clarence ""Bud"" Drone, 1 Sister - Elizabeth Daily, and 3 grandchildren - Rebecca McGuire, Christopher Lawler, and Charles Anthony McGuire.

Visitation for Pauline will be Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary service at 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patricks Catholic Church in the Ponds Settlement community east of Ridgway. Fr. Mark Stec will officiate and Interment will be in St. Patricks Cemetery.
