Rachel Ann Page

Rachel Ann DeVous Page, 38, of Shawneetown passed away on Sunday October 29, 2017.  Rachel was born On September 24, 1979 in Evansville, IN to Bill and Pat DeVous.  She had a bachelor's degree in marketing from University of South Florida. She worked for a number of years in the restaurant business and was currently flourishing as a wife, mother, and friend to many. Rachel was a member of the St. Kateri Catholic Church in Ridgway.

Rachel was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother,  aunt, cousin, and friend.  She had a tremendous zest for life, a caring heart and a clever wit. Amidst many health-related trials over the last seven years she lived a miraculous life: finding her wonderful husband, Danny, who cared for her heroically; she had two beautiful boys-Elliot and Houston; built up a beautiful family; and enjoyed bringing people together with parties filled with great food, plenty to drink, and overflowing good humor. She inspired all who had the pleasure of knowing her with her care, compassion, and self-sacrifice. She leaves a legacy of love, generosity, graciousness, friendship, and hospitality to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. We will miss her terribly.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Page; her sons and stepson , Elliot, Houston, and Blaine; her parents, Bill and Pat DeVous of Ridgway, IL, and her siblings, Fr. Phillip DeVous of Crescent Springs, KY and Laura DeVous of Ridgway, IL. and a niece, Carli DeVous.  She was preceded in death by her granparents, Sebastian and Margaret DeVous and Charlie and Martha Kuhn.

Visitation will be held at Cox and Son Funeral Home on Wednesday November 1 from 4pm-8pm where a Prayer service will start the visitation at 4:00 PM and the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Kateri Church on Thursday November 2 at 11:00am.  Rachels brother Fr.
