Ralph V. Ingram, age 79, passed this life, Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the Ridgway Nursing and Rehab surrounded by his family. Ralph was born on December 5, 1936 in Wasson, IL to the late Tom & Lillian (Johnson) Ingram. On August 17, 1954 he married Lou Eva (Estes) Ingram who survives. Ralph retired at an early age from Contel (Verizon) Telephone as a cable splicer. Ralph and Lou Eva spent several years traveling to Florida every winter. He loved to Camp, Garden, and Fish. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies.
Ralph was a member of the Eldorado Masonic Lodge and the Scott Street Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. Ralph was a very caring person and will be missed
Ralph is survived by his wife Lou Eva of Ridgway, 2 daughters, Cindy (Alan) Drone of Ridgway and Sandra (Ingram) Wright of Jackson, MO. 1 sister, Virginia (Guy) Yates of Fort Myers, Florida and 4 grandchildren, Aaron Wright, Amanda (Brad) Schafer, Jacob Drone and Katie (Noel) Clore. 2 great-grandchildren, Ethan and Wyatt Schafer. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Sonia Lynn, a brother, Tom Ingram and 5 sisters, Lucille Kelley, Pauline Beal, Mary Ann Allen, Margie Ridley, and Penelope Vessel.
Visitation for Ralph will be on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM. His funeral will immediately follow at the funeral home starting at 3:00 PM with Rev. Roy Dale Orr officiating. Interment will follow in the Wolfcreek Cemetery in Eldorado, IL.
