Rebecca M. Becky Drone

Rebecca M. ""Becky"" Drone, age 58 of Ridgway, IL died on December 26, 2015 in the Apostolic Christian Center in Eureka, IL after an extended illness. Becky as most knew her was born in Eldorado, IL on July 24, 1957 to Richard L. and Virginia (Ande) Drone. Becky never let her disability get in the way of leading a productive life. She was a faithful member of the St. Kateri Catholic Church in Ridgway her entire life. Becky worked for many years at the Ridgway Nursing Home where she always was willing to help. She was a member of the Altar Society with her mother and always participated in the dinners they hosted. Becky loved to dance, be around people and loved flowers. She had a contagious smile and unconditional love. She was a wonderful daughter and sister and will always be remembered as one of Ridgway's sweetest souls.

Becky is survived by her loving mother, Virginia Drone of Mackinaw, IL, 2 sisters, Christine (Lewie) Madden of St. Joseph, MO, and Brenda (Terry) Wiles of Mackinaw, IL. Nieces and nephews, Aaron (Dawn) Wiles, Kyle (Li) Wiles, Jason (Anna) Madden, Rachel (Shawn) Kirkpatrick,

Visitation for Becky will be on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A prayer service will start the visitation at 4:00 PM. Her funeral mass will be on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the St. Kateri Catholic Church in Ridgway starting at 11:00 AM with Fr. Steven Beatty celebrating mass. Her interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Ridgway.
