Robert E Betts

Robert E. Betts, age 56, formerly of Shawneetown, passed away on April 17, 2013 in Lexington, Ky.

Robert was born in Mississippi on Feb. 11, 1957, to Lester and Winnie Betts.

Robert is survived by his mother, Winnie (Ray) Betts of Old Shawneetown, a son, Jeremy Shawn Betts of Dover, TN, 2 sisters, Donna Hubbs and Winda Wenzel of Shawneetown, Il. and a brother Lester Betts, Jr. of Fredericksburg, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Betts and a sister Mary Ann Betts.

Vistiation for Robert will be on Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and his funeral will be on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the funeral home starting at 11:00 AM. Rev. Randy Vaughn will officiate and interment will follow in the Westwood Cemetery
