Robert L Clark

Robert Lee Clark, better known ast ""Puge"" age 72 of Shawneetown died peacefully at the home of his daughter on Sunday, February 16, 2014 after an extended illness. Robert was born in Junction, IL on July 21, 1941 to the late Robert and Laura (Ditterline) Clark. He was a Truck Driver and Coal Miner most of his life but his real passion every since a little boy was making fishing nets. He done this up until he got sick.

Robert is survived by 2 sons, John (Betty) Clark of Tennessee and Elliott (Evelyn) Clark of Broughton, IL a daughter Alonia (Stan) Foshee of Shawneetown and a sister Geraldine Smiechowski of Shawneetown. 5 Grandchildren, Buddy Clark, Daniel Burney, Danielle Burney, Brittany Burney and Becky Clark, 4 Great Grandchildren, Stanley Clark, Darren Morrison, Mary Jane Clark and Brianna Sutton. He is also preceded in death by a sister Shirley Clark Oneal and a brother J.W. Clark.

Robert per his request will be cremated and there will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday.
