Beloved husband and community member of the Masonic Lodge, Rodney D Barker Sr. passed away peacefully March 10, 2026, in his Shawneetown home. Rodney survived by his wife, Annis Barker (Monroe), David, Blayne, Jada, Brady, and Brenton. Beth Kiper, Krystin, Greg Webb and children, Chrissy Cross, Kylie House, and Jayce. Kelsie Krack, Hudson and Blakely. Katelynn Barker, Steven Barker Jr., Aidan, Elijah, and Eilam.

Rodney was proceeded in death by father and mother, Aurple Barker, Alice Jewell Barker West, and son, Steve Barker.

Entrusted to Cox and Son Funeral Home, a private funeral service will be held for close friends and family, followed by a graveside service, at Westwood Cemetery.
