Roy Seely

Roy D.""Killer"" Seely age 53 of Shawneetown, IL died Friday, March 11, 2011 in Deaconess Hospital after a sudden illness. Roy or as most knew him around Shawneetown, ""Killer"", was born in Eldorado, Il on March 26, 1957 to Lolene (Seely) Williams. He had worked for R. G. Berry trucking in Shawneetown for 21 years driving a Semi Truck. That was one of his real loves driving the truck, along with fishing], baseball, and especially watching wrestling. Roy was a big man, a stature that would intimidate most but, he was a good person, always kind and polite to everyone. He will be greatly missed.

Roy is survived by his companion, Louise Killman of Shawneetown, a daughter, Sarah Seely of Eldorado, IL, an aunt, Ailene Brooks of Shawneetown, step daughter, Elizabeth Gulub of Seattle, WA, and a special friend, Tammy Shaw of Harrisburg; he was also survived by many cousins and friends. Roy was preceded in death by his mother, Lolene ""Bil"" Williams, a step daughter, Tiffany Avery Seely and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation for Roy will be on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM . The funeral for Roy will be on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the funeral home starting at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bob Powell officiating and interment will be in Westwood Cemetery.
