Stacey Rister

Stacey Rister, born on June 7, 1970, departed from this world on September 1, 2024. Stacey was a vibrant presence in the lives of those who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will not be forgotten.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Rister. Her mother, Helen Knight, and father, Eddie Dickerson. Brothers Brad Dickerson and Shane Dickerson. She was a proud mother to her sons, Dylan Rister and Jordan Rister, and her daughter, Jessica (Tyrone) Wood. The family bonds she cultivated were further enriched by her beloved grandchildren: Savannah Wood, Hudson Wood, Bennett Wood, Rowan Wood, Kanyon Rister, and Kayla Rister.

Stacey brought joy to everyday life with her many interests. She had a passion for using her embroidery machine, meticulously crafting beautiful pieces that often held significant meaning. Her love for outdoor activities matched her enthusiasm for music because every song has a unique meaning for everyone who listened to it; these were not just hobbies but pathways through which she connected with the world around her. Additionally, Stacey's devotion to her pets was a testament to her compassionate spirit.

Stacey will be remembered fondly for the warmth she radiated and the profound impact she made on the lives of her family and friends.

A visitation to celebrate her life will be held on September 6, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cox & Son Funeral Home Ridgway, located at 209 S Jarrell St, Ridgway, IL 62979. A funeral service is scheduled for September 7, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM, also at Cox & Son Funeral Home.

Though Stacey’s stepdad, Earl Knight, has passed on, her spirit continues to touch those who remain, ensuring that her memory will live on in their hearts forever.
