Sue Blair

Sue Blair, age 84 lifelong New Haven resident, passed on this life, February 16, 2018 in Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, IN.  Sue was born in New Haven on March 5, 1933 to the late John Fred and Thelma (Upton) Givens.  She married the love of her life, Jim Blair in 1947 and he preceded her in death in 2001.  Sue was a faithful member of the New Haven Presbyterian Church.  She loved to be with her friends especially Betty Jo.  Shopping, visiting and being a homemaker was her passion.  She was a very proud lady.  Sue will be missed by many especially her daughters, grandchild and great grandchildren.

Sue is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa Blair of Carmi and Donna Blair of Las Vega, NV, a grandchild, Erin Blair and 2 great grand, Morgan and Hailey Blair.  A special friend, Betty Jo Roark.

Visitation for Sue will be Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in New Haven from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Her funeral service will immediately follow with Rev. Wade Halva officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the donor’s choice.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
